Micheline Bouchard, B.Eng., M.Eng., ICD

Micheline was President and Chief Executive Officer of biomedical company ART Advanced Research Technologies. Previously, she served as Global Corporate Vice-President, Enterprise Services at Motorola head office in Chicago, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Motorola Canada. She has also held Vice-President positions with Hewlett-Packard, DMR Group and CGI Group.

Currently on the board of PSP Investment and Canada Foundation for Innovation, Micheline has served on many corporate boards, including Telus and Harry Winston Diamond. She has also served on the boards of several community services, professional engineering, business and women’s groups.

Micheline holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics and master’s degree in electrical engineering from L’Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, and five honourary doctorates from Ryerson Polytechnique and the Universities of Waterloo, McMaster, Ottawa and Montreal (HEC). She has received the Order of Engineers of Quebec’s Excellence Award, and is a Member of the Order of Canada and the National Order of Quebec. She is a certified member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. In 2015, Micheline was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women.
